The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Session

Counselling Process

  • Approximately 2 hours of online counselling with a Certified Practitioner
  • Clarifying student's objectives of taking the MBTI® assessment
  • Provide brief background/context of the MBTI® instrument
  • Assist student to arrive at their personality type
  • Explaining implications of student's personality type in life and study-streams
  • Recommending resources available for various applications of MBTI® type in everyday student life
  • Various reports generated during the session which is detailed under deliverables below
The Strong Interest Inventory® (Strong) Session

Counselling Process

  • Approximately 2 hours with Certified Practitioner
  • Clarifying student's objectives of taking the Strong Interest Inventory assessment
  • Provide brief background/context of the Strong Interest Inventory assessment
  • Examining different sections of the Strong Interest Inventory assessment Report
    • General Occupational Themes - student's personality and work interests
    • Basic Interest Scales - student's top 5 interest fields from 30 different fields
    • Occupational Scales - student's top 10 occupations from 130 varied occupations
    • Personal Style Scales - student's preferences in working style, learning environment, leadership approach, risk taking and team orientation.
  • Helping the student undergo the Aptitude Assessment to ascertain skills and abilities, ie, Motivational Skills Matrix
  • Frame Career Mission Statement - assist student to frame a short career mission statement that will form a lifelong tool for guidance in career exploration journey.
  • Helping the student understand the derived results in relation to making choices for study streams and occupations
  • Recommending additional resources to research more on best-fit educational streams/career fields
Final Session

Counselling Process

  • Approximately 2 hours with Certified Practitioner
  • Identify Unique Natural Potential - Aligns Student's Personality, Interests and Aptitude to identify Student's Unique Natural Potential.
  • Help the Student interpret the Final Report, ie, Unique Natural Potential Report
  • Identify Best Educational Streams - Narrow down career fields and related educational streams that are best-fit for Student's Unique natural potential.


Deliverables

MBTI® Session for Personality

  • Assessment – Myers Briggs Type Indicator® Assessment.
  • Session – 2+ hours of online consultative session.
  • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Report – This 6-page report defines the student’s personality type, and gives a comprehensive picture of the key characteristics, strengths and blind-spots of the particular type.
  • Career-Fields Report – This report shows how career choices are influenced by the Mental Functions within a personality type, and indicates the careers under each mental function in which the student expressed interest.
  • Occupation Report – This report includes the careers most commonly chosen by the student’s personality type, and indicates the careers in which the student expressed interest.
  • VedAtma Personality Report – This comprehensive report provides a detailed analysis of the student's personality type, encompassing implications, mental function dynamics, decision-making processes, strengths, stressors, top career choices, and engaging fun facts.
  • Career-Fields Report – This report shows how career choices are influenced by the Mental Functions within a personality type, and indicates the careers under each mental function in which the student expressed interest.

SII® Session for Interest and Aptitude

  • Assessment – Strong Interest Inventory® Assessment .
  • Session – 2+ hours of online discovering session of your Interest and Aptitude.
  • Strong Interest Inventory® Report – The 23-page report comprises four sections detailing the student's preferred occupational themes, top basic interests, and occupations, along with personal work styles, and features an inventory of 130 different careers and occupations.
  • Occupation Report – This report is generated during the counselling process, and indicates the occupations chosen by the student based on their career interests.
  • College Course Report – This includes the subjects and college courses selected by the student from the Strong Report, based on their career interests.
  • Personality Style Report – This report shows the student’s preferred styles of working, learning, leading, risk-taking and teamwork.
  • Aptitude Report – This report is the culmination of the Aptitude Assessment conducted during the counselling process.

Final Counselling Session

  • Session – 1+ hours of culminative online session.
  • Final Report – Comprehensive report summarising personality, interest, aptitude and identification of the Unique Natural Potential. This also lists the best-fit study/career recommendations based on the unique potential of the student.

Important Note: A gap of few days is recommended between each of these sessions. This is to maximize takeaways from each session by reflecting on the knowledge gained in each session.
